If you work on more than one tabs at the same time and all the URLs of the tabs are important for you, then the first thing comes in your mind is to copy all the URLs. But, in general, it takes a lot of time if you go by the copy-paste approach. Sometimes, your computer might restart or even your browser might not respond properly, leading to the closing of all the open tabs. Also, after the next restart or later, you tend to forget the URL of the page creating a lot of problems for you to search it again. So, in order to avoid these problems, you could follow some simple approach. Now matter if it’s Chrome or Firefox, below are the steps on how to copy URLs of all open tabs.
1. Copy URLs Of All Open Tabs In Chrome Browser
Copying one URL is very easy and takes less time. But, copying more than one URL can consume a lot of time. You have to open each page and then copy the URL which is a lengthy process. So, in order to reduce the time and quickly copy all the tabs together, there are two add ons which you can use to copy the URL of opened multiple tabs. Following are the steps to copy the URLs of all open tabs in it.-
Using Get opened tabs URLs extension
Step 1: Foremost step is to open the Chrome browser and add-on the extension from here.
Step 2: Now, open the tabs to copy the URLs of the browser and click on the Get opened tabs add on shortcut located at the top right of the screen.
Step 3: A pop up appears showing you all the URLs of the opened tabs.
Step 4: Now, simply you have to click on “Copy To Clipboard” option. You will see that all the URLs of opened tabs have been copied.
Step 5: Just paste them into the Notepad, and you’ll be fine.
Using Copy All URLs extension
Step 1: Foremost step is to open the Chrome browser and add on the extension from here.
Step 2: Now, open the tabs to copy the URLs of the browser and click on the Copy All URLs add-on shortcut located at the top right of the screen.
Step 3: A pop up appears showing you all the copy or paste all the URLs of the opened tabs.
Step 4: Now, simply click on Copy tab. You will see that all the URLs of the multiple tabs gets copied. Simply, paste them to the Notepad.
2. Export URLs Of All Open Tabs To the Clipboard in Mozilla Firefox Browser
If you are using Mozilla Firefox, then here are the steps to save all the URLs of the opened tabs-
Step 1: Launch Mozilla Firefox browser and open multiple tabs to copy the URLs.
Step 2: Now, click on the Mozilla Firefox Menu placed at the top right of the corner.
Step 3: A list of options appears. Click on Options button.
Step 4: Next step is, you have to choose the ‘General > Startup’ section. Now, click on Home Page box and then, click on “Use Current Pages” option. You will see that all the URLs have been copied there.
So, this is how you can copy URLs of all the open tabs. According to my best knowledge, these are the methods and extensions which you can use to copy URLs of multiple tabs together at the same time instead of copying one by one.
