Save Space On iPhone – Compress iPhone photos without losing quality :
With inclusion of 12MP rear camera in iPhone 6s, photo quality has improved to a great extent. But that will only hurt you in case you too have a 16GB version just like me. Tried taking photo of a serene location, you’ll probably end up utilising 5-6 MB per photo. Thats huge for such a low storage device Isn’t it? Why not click as many photos as you want for the day and compress iPhone photos without losing quality later, Isn’t it great idea. Let’s see how to reduce pictures file size on iPhone :
Step 2 : Once installation is complete, launch Umate, connect your iPhone with PC/Mac via lightning cable and head over to Photos from side pane menubar.
Step 3 : Now tap on Scan -> Backup & Compress and let Umate traverse all the photos to compress it for you. Before compressing the images on your iPhone, Umate will first backup all the original size images to your PC just in case you didn’t like the compression results (which is highly rare case) and then will start the lossless compression process.
Step 4 : You just sit back, relax and sip in your green tea, till then allow Umate to save space on iPhone. As you can see, the image size is reduced from 6.1 MB to 938 KB with little to no loss in quality. Even if there’s loss in quality, it is barely seen with naked eyes, Isn’t it? Ahem, btw that’s me in the picture with my cute giant friend.
