We all are aware of OGWhatsApp, that’s why we are here. Couple of days ago, well renowned developer Osama Ghareeb had to announce the retirement of OGWhatsApp due to policy violation of WhatsApp Inc. Though, this news turned out to be a heart break for WhatsApp users who used to run two WhatsApp on one phone, but this fact is inevitable. Yes, OGWhatsApp is obsolete now.

It’s not the end of the story yet, we can still run multiple WhatsApp account on our Android device. This OGWhatsApp alternative is little bit difficult to implement, but once it’s done, you’ll be the most happiest person. Requirements before you proceed:

  • Rooted Android device running version 2.1 and up.
  • SwitchMe app installed on your Android.
  • Plenty of Space on your device.

SwitchMe allows you to log in and out of multiple user spaces just as you would on a desktop computer, with each account having its own system settings, apps and data.

How To Run Two WhatsApp On One Phone:

Step 1: We are assuming you have installed the Switch Me app and you are on a Rooted Android device. If not, please fulfil the requirements and then proceed further.

Step 2: Open the SwitchMe app and create two different user profiles for running two different WhatsApp account. These user profiles will have their own own system settings, apps and data.

Step 3: The First user profile you created will work as an Administrator and this account will contain all the apps and data that you are having now. You will be having WhatsApp on this profile if you are using it on your device earlier.

Step 4: The second user profile is the new one, and will contain your Another WhatsApp account. Download WhatsApp for this profile and activate it as you do usually. Switch to this account—> Set up your phone for this account—> Open Play Store—> Install WhatsApp. Now, register WhatsApp for your second SIM in this profile.

Step 5: Congratulations! You successfully activated  multiple WhatsApp account on your Android.

Although this approach is not as sturdy as OGWhatsApp where you simultaneously run two WhatsApp account. But, in the meanwhile until we get a full proof method, we can use this approach. We’ll keep this article updated with more OGWhatsApp alternatives.
