While analyzing the Facebook’s $19 billion Whatsapp swoop and changes we are expecting from Mark Zuckerberg, it seems everything will be quite happening on WhatsApp in upcoming years. With 430 million active users, that was supposed to be 200 million in April 2013, WhatsApp doubled it’s users in less than an year.
As we all know, WhatsApp is way ahead from it’s rivals, but what’s lacking is running multiple WhatsApp account. But now, sooner or later, we are here with how to run two WhatsApp on one phone without root.
Before we begin, you need:
# Any Android device running that can run official WhatsApp.
# OGWhatsApp apk available on your Android device (Follow the Installation link provided below). As this app is not available on Play Store, install this app the same way you install apk’s (Don’t install until and unless we mention to install it).

How to run two WhatsApp:
- The very first step before proceeding further is “Backup your WhatsApp messages“.
- Now, head over to app settings and clear the official WhatsApp data.
- Move onto File Manager and rename the “WhatsApp” folder to “OGWhatsApp“.
- Next, Install the OGWhatsApp apk.
- It’s time to verify your new number with official WhatsApp and old number with OGWhatsApp.
- You are all set to run two WhatsApp on one phone without root.
You’ll be seeing two WhatsApp icons on App drawer. Both the apps will receive different notifications and messages.
