But today, I will talk about something interesting that will not only allow you to lock your PC but you will also be able to Unlock your PC with your Android Fingerprint Scanner. Sounds great? Before we begin, there are some apps which you need to download before you can lock or unlock your PC with the fingerprint scanner.

Please Note: In order to Lock Unlock Windows PC with Android Fingerprint, steps will look lengthy. But believe me, it’s the easiest thing you gonna do today.
Step 1: The very first thing to do is set up the Unified Distant Server software on the Windows PC. The Unified Distant app for Android device [Play Store Link] must also be downloaded to start up for the method.
Step 2: Now, download an app named “Tasker“. It is a paid app which will cost you $3.10.
Step 3: Next, you have to download Auto Tools App. It is a free app.

Step5: Now, you have to open the Auto Tools App and click on Start Trial option after signing with your account. (This app is based on 30 days free trial).
Step 6: Now, open the Tasker app and long press on Tasks option. From the pop menu, You have to click on Import and select both Fingerprint and Fingerprint Unlock files one by one.
Step 7: As soon as both the files are loaded, click on Fingerprint option. A new menu appears. Click on the Variable Set option and there, you have to enter a password for your Windows or PC in the space provided “Your Password”. For eg- 123456789. (NOTE: Please enter the same password provided in your Windows)
Step 8: Next, go back to the three option menu and click on Play button located in the below-left side of your Android screen. You will see that all the three options turn green.
Step 9: Now, go back to the main menu and delete the Fingerprint option as it will not be needed anymore in the future.
Step 10: Next step is to click on Fingerprint Unlock option. A menu appears.
Step 11: Click on option third i.e. “Browse URL”. Now, just replace the name of the Desktop with your Desktop name. Now, repeat the same step for Option 5 and Option 7.
Step 12: Now, click on the icon present on the right side of your screen and choose any other icon from built in option if you wish.
Step 13: Once you are done, exit the application. Long press on your screen and click on Widgets. Select Tasker app and then click on Task. A menu appears and you have to select Fingerprint Unlock option. You will see that the icon widget has been added to your screen.
Step14: Open up the Unified Remote app on the Android device and connect it to your email account.
Step 15: Now, connect your device with the Windows by finding the Windows IP address or the computer’s IP address.
Step 16: Now, click on the Power option and then select Lock option. You will see that your Windows have been locked.
Step 17: Finally, click on Fingerprint Unlock widget and place your Finger on the sensor. You will see that your Windows has been unlocked.
